Principal
Ryan has worked on a variety of projects in the Kansas City region including the world headquarters for Applebee’s International, the 46,000 square foot Bartle Hall Ballroom expansions, Timber Creek Hearth House, a spiritual retreat center located in rural Missouri, and many residential projects. Ryan’s passion for sustainable architecture was fostered while working for BNIM Architects. He believes in a collaborative design process that incorporates innovative environmental design strategies to create design solutions that enrich the lives of the user while also having a positive impact on the land on which it is built.
Ryan received his Bachelors in Interior Architecture from Kansas State University and his Masters of Architecture from the University of Kansas, where he participated in the Studio 804 design /build studio. He is also a member of the Missouri AIA Board. Ryan has always been interested in the craft of how things are built and spends much of his free time engaged in construction and welding.
