Grin Residence
This project is a renovation of a 780 square foot master bedroom and bath in Leawood, Kansas. The master bath was completely reorganized to maximize space and daylight, increase storage space, and to add a small office. Barrel vaults create a classic aesthetic and harmoniously complement modern finishes and fixtures. Pocket doors with custom resin panel inserts provide privacy and separation between spaces, without sacrificing loss of light or space. Custom lighting, including dimmable LED soft strips create even light distribution in the bath cove lighting, and back light the onyx fireplace in the master bedroom. Wall and cabinetry paint are all low VOC, and the custom drapery is hand made from renewable materials.
