Davison Architecture + Urban Design LLC provides a full range of professional services in architecture and urban design.  Our work reflects our continued commitment to achieving exceptional design through distinct, sustainable and responsible solutions not only for our clients but the community.  While working locally as well as nationally, our design and research focused collaborative uses new technologies to create innovative designs and thoughtful details.

Our people have over 35 years of combined experience, much of that spent in the renowned architectural office of Cesar Pelli (now Pelli Clarke Pelli) and BNIM. We have worked on projects throughout the country yet remain committed to and excited about the continued growth and success of the metropolitan area of Kansas City.

DA + UD has been fortunate to work with some of the finest technical and artistic consultants in the country.  We continue to benefit from these local and national connections, and this collective expertise   has provided us with the capacity to assemble a design team of the highest caliber.  This enables us to successfully design and manage even the most complex building types.

We believe that the most successful projects are a result of an open dialogue between client and designer.  Good communication allows for the exchange of ideas and the establishment of clear expectations.  We also believe that design problems offer the potential for design solutions.  This open exchange of ideas allows for carefully crafted responses to the needs of our clients.

At DA+UD, we endeavor to create individualized solutions by using the best available tools and appropriate resources… from simple, spontaneous, hand drawn napkin sketches to precise and detailed construction documents and renderings.  We also provide assistance with the LEED certification program.  We are committed to the basic ideals of environmental stewardship, fiscally responsible solutions, and exceptional design.
